great for the money I had a very comfortable stay for the money. The hotel offered comfortable rooms for a reasonable rate and I was concerned about that after some of the previous reviews about this hotel but it was fine for the cost. I enjoyed my visit to Savannah and will consider this hotel for future visits.
My Home for 4-Days Four night stay (one queen-sized bed, fridge and two-burner stove). I was pleased with my room except for the bed, which was very hard. Extended Stay only cleans your room on Fridays, which I had forgotten about, so keep that in mind if that's a concern for you. But if you need fresh towels or linens, you can take your old ones to the front desk and exchange them for new ones. Also, they have Wi-Fi available but charged for Internet access. Good location but Bad Water Pressure Overall the hotel was nice and conveniently located to the Savannah Civic Center, however there was a smell once I entered the room (just lingered in the door way-the rest of the room didn't smell). Also it was convenient to restaurants and grocery stores. The only thing that made it a bad stay was the fact that there was absolutely no water pressure.
Old Hotel It was a great location for what I wanted to do, a good price but I didn't like I had to take my own linen to the front desk to get new ones (there was a sign in the room telling you that if you're not staying for 7 days they don't clean everyday) or dump my own trash. If had a old smell but the employees was very nice and helpful.
The hotel was conveniently located close to everything we needed to get to. The only problem is that we asked for a smoking room and we received a non smoking. We just delt with it but other than that everything was ok.
Hotel room smelled like mildew and dirty socks. Was moved to another room where a roach was visable. Finally moved to a decent room.
Extended Stay America - Decent for price Pros- Hotel is located 4 miles from Historic Savannah. Hotel was clean and worth the price. More then likely i will stay here again. Cons- Wouldn't allow me to check in till 3pm. This was the first hotel i stayed at that did not allow early check-in. You have to pay for the wireless internet, (its not expensive and the speed is excellent.)
Good price for the location The area seemed safe...the price was good...and the staff was polite and helpful. The room was in good condition and everything we needed in the room was there.
