Room Smelled like smoke

The motel is not new and a bit outdated. The refrigerator wasn't working when I arrived and their maintenance guy was not able to fix it when I arrived by 5PM for check in. Thus, I was not able to get any groceries until the day after for my stay.

It was very convenient to many things. It was also quiet. The grounds were well kept. I felt the room could have been cleaner. The top of the refrigerator has not been cleaned for months. ( I am 5ft.4in and can see it easily.) The towels are very rough along with the tissue and toilet paper.

Could not check in till 4pm husband was in town for business, had to wait and was super pressed for time at that point.

The property is clean. I was misled. The room has nothing in it....no coffee pot , no hair dryer, barely soap. Also there was no breakfast. You ask for all dishes etc. Its extended stay so i guess you bring your own stuff. The managemet was very responsive and fixed our loud refrigerator and changed our room to non smoking.

However, we're sorry for your disappointment with the in-room amenities. Please know, our hotel is designed for guests staying a week or more at a time, who prefer a home-like living experience and they bring their personal items.
