Extended Stay America - North Farmington Hills, MI Everything was fine; good price, good location, all roads make it convenient to all surrounding areas, plenty of places to eat, easy to DTW Airport, the easiest route back is to DTW is use Middlebelt Rd. just a half mile to the west of the hotel rather than going over to Orchard Lake Rd. and getting onto I-696, plenty of gas stations for filling up rental car tank on Middlebelt (Valero on left 4 miles from airport), hotel one block away from USA's first Holocaust Memorial Ce... read more

Not as nice as expected... although this was presented as a four-star hotel, I was dissapointed in the maintenance and feel. No shampoo, had to ask for the hair dryer at the front desk, no breakfast. Not a great feel to the place.

Okay for the money. Easy to find. The rooms were clean. The only thing that sucked is they dont clean unless you stay for more than 7 days. I had only stayed 5.

Inside fine - outside help room and lobby was fine but main enterance was not clearly marked, no temp parking for check in and parking lot had many spaces that were not cleared of snow from 2 days prior.

Good Location, Good Price I had to be in that specific area and found the motel very clean and comfortable to stay in. I liked the kitchenette. The location for my needs was perfect. However,. In the room next door to mine, I 'did' hear a dog bark once or twice, which I didn't care for. Perhaps they could put those traveling with pets in a separate area.

I didn't sleep at the hotel simply because I didn't need to - I live in the neighborhood. I used the room because we are doing rennovations at our house. I would not stay at this hotel if I were vacationing or on business. It was convenient for what I needed and the price was best. Front desk people were great. This is a non-smoking motel and the stairwells were FULL of smoke.

Good location. Very clean rooms. Competitively priced. Rooms were very clean. Staff was friendly and it was a safe location. Close to interstate.

A good basic place to stay The staff were very pleasant and accommodating. The rooms are no frills with limited amenities. But considering the price, it was a good place to stay.
