Not for a family stay I was a little displeased with the condition of the hotel. I visited while renovations were taking place which is never a good experience. Also many of the guests seem to be living there on a semi permanent basis i.e.: In between permanent housing. I would stay again by myself because of the inexpensive rate but would not feel comfortable bringing my wife due to the above stated conditions.

Happy with what I expected it too be. I was happy with my stay and the condition of the room overall. The room did not smell of smoke as others have reported. The hotel is a two star hotel to be sure but then you should not expect a four star for this price either. The kitchen was equipted but I would not say fully. There was service for only 2 people and only one preparation utensil. Big draw back was no dish soap provided to do dishes with so I just used bar soap. Extended Stay of Americas - Sterling Heights, Mi I reserved a King Size Bedroom, when I got to the Hotel they stated that they didnt have any King Size Bedrooms available.

You get what you pay for The people were great but the room was dirty and smelly

Grandma's Visit Visited grand-daughter. Didn't spend a lot of time in room. Babysat while daughter worked. Staff was much friendlier last visit in December. Hardly saw any staff this trip. Front desk was almost always empty.

Grandbaby Visit Room was nice...small kitchen w/stove, frige, dishes, microwave, sink, table, chairs, 2 desks, dresser, tv. No tv guide, no what's in the area guide. No warning about being "pet-friendly". I have bad allergies which go into high gear with pet dander. Even though I was there to visit grandbaby and only used the room for sleep, it was still enough to affect my sinus and asthma.
