Clean, minimal but just needed a clean, safe place I had already reserved a nice hotel in Lakeland but I arrived late at night, one night early and the hotel I had reserved was booked and couldn't accommodate my early arrival so I needed a room for one night, last minute. I stayed at Woodsprings Suites in Lakeland. It was clean, very minimal, but it was clean and the bed comfortable.The cost was inexpensive which I appreciated.

We had to wait close to 20 minutes to check in. The front desk clerk was MIA even after we called the phone. Once she arrived, she was pleasant and did a good job. She had to move quick because at that point she had about 5 other people waiting to be serviced. I was on the 3rd floor. When I got off the elevator, I was not happy as the Hallway smelled of "weed". Great for the price I stayed here for almost a month straight and not one time received housekeeping I was told it was every 2 weeks but never received any which I personally didn't mind but I can see others not being happy with it. I just washed the towels and sheets with my other laundry it was fine. Most of the staff here works and lives in the hotel, a lot of people live here some were very nice while others seemed sketchy.
