Good Value for Your Money I stayed in Roanoke for a company business trip and the Extended Stay was perfect.
One night stay Fair for one night stay. Wash cloth was stained, but I was able to get another. Carpet appeared dirty. Bed linens were clean.
Hotel staff having an off day! Arrived shortly after check in and found the room had not been cleaned, told front desk and that we would be gone for three hours please have it done by then, they assured us that it would be. After we returned three hours later we found it the same as before. The manager was off sick and it looks like cleaning comes to a halt when that happens. Not Bad The staff was the best part. Room was clean. Two drawbacks : the interstate traffic noise and you had to ask for a cup or spoon or coffee maker, anything extra. Not a bad stay.
Broken plumbing Only 2 things were problems--commode was broken and water line to it turned off. And there was no waste basket in the entire room. Otherwise it was clean, bed comfortable and staff courteous.
Very decent all things considered. I've seen places like this be terrible, but this one wasn't like that. Don't be afraid--book today!
an ok place to lay your head We got there too check in and they have us the key to our non smoking room and we went to our room and it smelled do bad of cigarettes and dirty feet. Sheila, from the front desk, put us in a 2nd room that smelled even worse. The 2nd room smelled like must or mildew so she told us she didn't have any other rooms available and we would have to call booking agent to have us put in another motel which was disappointing to us as we were very tired from riding our motorcycle for 15 hours that day.
