Worth the price Studio Plus provided everything I needed at a discount price. Staff was very helpful and friendly!
Studio Plus in St. Charles-close to area casinos The hotel was decent, about what you'd expect for the price. We were probably a 5 minute drive to the closest casino, which is why we chose the hotel. The front desk quickly corrected the mistake in our room and we had no problems the night we were there.
More than expected For the price, I expected a very run down hotel and the thought of a full kitchen scared me as to how clean the appliances and such would be. I booked this hotel knowing we would only be sleeping in the room and nothing fancy was needed. Aside from finding some questionable items behind the dresser on the day we checked out, I was pleasantly surprised. My ONLY complaint was that the beds and pillows were extremely uncomfortable. Best deal for the $$ The hotel was a little different than I am used to. There wasn't a "registration counter" with people behind it, so you checked in with women at desks in a reception room. It seemed a bit odd to not have the reception people standing eye to eye with me. I also thought it was strange that there was no rear entrance - doors were on the ends of the building and in the front at the center of the building. Customer Service is the best! The hotel is not exactly near St. Louis, but the drive is worth it! It's very quiet, very peaceful- Nice after a long day! The customer service is the best! Laquanda checked me and I have never had better service. She was very poilte and courteous. She even surprised me by calling about 10 minutes after checking in to make sure that everything in my room was to my satisfaction! Excellent!
30 Minutes away from downtown St. Louis I arrived around 12 am and had to wait close to 30 minutes before someone came back to the front desk. They had my reservation and check-in went easy. The hotel seems pretty secure, requiring room keys to get in the front entrance after a certain time and the rooms we're fine. It is not a luxury hotel, so you should not expect it to look like one.
