toilet malfunctioned

I left an electric razor in room and called shortly after leaving and ask for it to be put up to retrieve later... was told it was NOT found in room and that it I was just outta luck and to move on about it.... I was most displeased with attitude of staff and unwillingness to even question housekeeping as to what happened with shaver...
