Location! Location! Location! I have been coming to Extended Stay America Suites Shelton Fairfield County, Connecticut for many, many years, and I have never had a problem or a complaint! My room has always been clean, the check-in easy, and you can't beat the location! Easy access to the Merritt and Wilbur Cross Parkways, Route 8 Corridor, Route 25, and Route 95. Not outstanding but acceptable The hotel was clean but definitely dated. An old building with clean beds. Our first room 101 had an issue with the flooring. When we came in we noticed it was buckling and lifting from the ground as the night went on there was water coming up through the flooring. The hotel was booked and there was no room to move to so we stayed the night. The next day we were moved to a new room. The front desk clerk Jermaine was so nice ! I felt bad for him because the TVs weren’t working properly and a customer yelled at him ! I was upset there was no pool or hot tub as advertised so I would like to dispute how much I paid for this hotel
