Amber was great checking me in. Very friendly and attentive😊
It was clean and easily accessible from the interstate. The building is older and could use some upgrades. We had difficulty accessing one of the elevators which was problematic because my wife has mobility issues. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. I do prefer rooms that open to the inside, but.....
we Had to change rooms three times. The smoke detector would go off every fifteen seconds for about 3 seconds in the first room. Then they moved us to a smoking room that smelled horrible. Third room was ok. The phone didn’t work in the first room or the last one and the front desk agent said that most of the phones didn’t work.

The hotel’s computer system incorrectly had my zip code as being in Mexico. It’s not — I live in Texas, which is still in the USA as far as I know — but the staff person (Amber, who was great and just as frustrated as I was) couldn’t override the system. We reserved a room with a roll in shower for my elderly parent who needs a walker. The accessible room she was in only had a tub and was missing a shower chair.
