Was able to get a same day reservation & had a good night's sleep. Room was clean with no issues.
The experience was standard and adequate It was a decent stay and had a small kitchen that allowed me to store some food for my visit. While the general area was clean, the carpet have not been washed in what seems to have been years, rendering my exposed feet to blacken. Rather disgusting, so I had to wear shoes in the hotel room. There was almost no breakfast other than coffee provided.
All of the staff was absolutely incredible especially Ricky ! Only there was an issue with not being able to get the usual captions working on the TV and I am hard of hearing so it was a big deal for me. And as I was on the second floor with cranky knees and the elevator was broken for a couple days this was problematic, otherwise I would have given them a higher rating. It was close enough to San Mateo Convention Center (about 10 min. drive) and was a lot less congested than the other hotels in the middle of the city - staff were also very nice and chill.
