This is no fault of the management or staff. But the hotel was not built so that foot noise from the upper floor cannot be heard by the room on the floor below. On my last night, the person above me kept walking till 2AM and I could not go to sleep. I'm very well-traveled and I know from experience that calling the front desk about it is usually not a solution for various reasons. I could also hear the TV in the next room on my floor.
