I chose this location for proximity to the SFO airport. That was fine. The property is adequate for a short stay, but doesn't really meet the standard I was used to with the Marriot Residence Inns which I have stayed in the past. I wanted to try Extended Stay America for this reason, but have to say I was slightly disappointed. The rooms don't come with kitchen utilities unless you request it. The guests appeared to be mostly domestic stays, not professional, and the common areas reminded me of a college dormitory.

Thanks for a great stay! 👍🎉 We enjoy staying at Extended Stay America, Dyer Street, Union City, CA. However, we ended up with a very loud refrigerator. It took my husband a day to figure out that he couldn't fix it. The hotel was right on it though and we got a brand new one! 😁. Worked great. Very quiet. I also wish that there could be some fruit at the grab and go breakfast. We really like be able to cook dinners to help keep the cost down of our trip.

I did not like having to go get the equipment for the kitchen. I expected the kitchen to be usable upon arrival without having to go get pots, pans, plates etc...

work trip Good location with restaurants walking distance. Room smelled like smoke when I first walked in, still smelled after spraying air freshener. The room next door was pretty loud between 6:30am 7:30am each morning.
