Expedia set this up for my soulmate and I after we found out the day before arriving- the hotel shut its doors. So- we would have been stranded. Alkram, the manager, of Extended stay in Alexandria Virginia made our visit a pleasant surprise. It was 10 minutes from my competition venue and walking distance from the grocery store and various restaurants! It was a better than expected visit. I would seriously consider visiting again.

Very basic property. Paid for queen bed, got double. Someone obviously smoked in the room beforehand with the smell and fire alarm missing. Had to ask for dishes vs having them in there like other extended stays. Other than that it was fine.

Someone else’s food in the fridge. Dirty towels in the washroom and the floor hadn’t been swept it awhile

Checking in the staff was wonderful. That’s where Good stopped. Third floor concrete exposed by missing carpet. Smelled like urine. No soap in room, no do not disturb sign. Night clerk made us ferl like we were bothering him by asking for something that should had already been in room

Could be better smell cigarette and view was mediocre
