An affortable and excellent place to stay I have been stay at Springfield Extended Stay America from 21 Oct to 12 Dec 2014 as my temporary lodging. It was pleasant time with the clean and comfortable room, free breakfast and kind staff during the period. Ms. Cassandra's quick and effective management was a remarkable. Very quiet place -- if you can find it It was fine although "continental breakfast" was a joke. Not even little cereal boxes... TV set is not HD which is unusual nowadays (didn't know anyone still used analog) ... There was simply no way to find the street address with naked eye. Good Room & A Great Price The room was clean and had a new carpet, new mattress, and new neater/air-conditioner. The bed was very comfortable. The Internet was pretty good. The room had an older, but very clean kitchen sink, microwave and refrigerator. The hotel is located on a quiet street, just off the Interstate beltway (I-395, I-495, & I-95). Plenty of parking with some spaces...

Great stay! Everything was indeed just about perfect, including the staff and the supplies. Also, the location was a very good place. There were dishes, utensils, plates, cooking spoons, spatulas, bowls, and two saucepans in the kitchen area. I would go back in a heartbeat. Oh, one more thing, the freshly perked coffee was great.
Nice hotel - nice walk on bike path to Metro Everything was really nice and quiet. Close to stores and restaurants by car. 20 minute walk to Metro (Springfield/Franconia station) and then about 40 minutes to DC's Metro Center station.
Somewhat satisfied Cassandra at the front desk was exceptionally helpful and pleasant. Unfortunately she seems to be the only employee who is happy. The housekeeper aggressively knocked on the door at several different times. She once knocked at 7 am yelling check out or stay over! She was extremely rude.
