Nereyda and Maria have been very helpful. This facility is cleaner than and safer than other storage facilities I've used in the past. I thank Extra Space for having people that know what they are doing and are courteous to their customers. Nereyda seems to go the extra mile for customers.
This is regarding the on site Manager Thelvi. On July 14 my father went to pay for his account till the Month of August. During his visit there, he started suffering from pain and went outside near a wall trying to hold himself up. The manager came out and accused him of peeing saying "she saw it with her own eyes" he denied her claims and asked for help, got to his knees and begged for help. This business needs to change its hours online!! It says that it has a 24 hour kiosk - the kiosk is behind a LOCKED door . It says online that they open at 6 am , meanwhile I've arrived @ 8 am to a very locked door that says they don't open until 9:30. This is not a great way to retain customers or garner new ones.
Beware they will raise the cost of your rental unit without warning within *months* of your signing up. Is this even legal? They don't tell you that they'll raise your rent to "market rate" when they gladly take your money when you first rent a unit. Extra space storage is a huge scam!!! They have purchased many fake five-star reviews on Google Maps. Look how many of these people have only reviewed this place and nowhere else! Re: Extra Space reply. If I could give this place no stars I would. Literally every time I went to the office I received horrible customer service. I really suggest that whoever is reading this debating whether they should rent here or not reconsiders. The first time I went to rent here I had my dog with me and she's a very anxious breed. She tends to get really nervous when she's in new places and cries a lot. The worst storage place. The outside units are infested with RATS. There are several recycle companies and alleys around the location that are filthy and for this reason the outside storage units have rats. They will not fumigate the units unless renter shows proof of dead rats or droppings. The insurance that the storage offers does not cover any damages. I dont recommend this storage place.
This location deserves no stars! My reason... I have been storing for 3+yrs. I started with a 5x7 and had to downsize to a 5x5 because of their prices. I'm furious in how they just go up on unit prices when not even a year goes by. It's the 3rd time they go up on my unit. I really don't stop by my unit much I just pay every month because I don't have no other option. When I first called in regards to this storage all was good. Great customer service and all , when I went to fill out paperwork too all was great this tall black guy was so nice and professional but the first day I went to take stuff this mex girl rushed me she said " you have 20 min to bring me the cart key back cuz i need to close " that was si rude. She has no simpathy for clients. I did not appreciate that. Over all I'm ok.
I just opened my storage facility in September to hold my my wedding items, wedding dress, and some extra home items that can save me some space. Now, in January (four months later) I am ALREADY CLOSING MY UNIT and moving to another storage company. They were kind and seemed so helpful when I first opened my unit.
