I have moved numerous times in my life and extra space storage has been the best experience yet. Staff was very very kind and polite considerate helpful. I feel they went above and beyond what's expected to meet my needs. I highly recommend extra space storage at 2101 Sylvan Ave. in Modesto.
this is the 2nd time using this storage. Always has great rates but the main reason is the staff is great and always friendly. We also love the storage its clean and very accessible for us when moving and always open when we need to go. Would highly recommend! Gilbert/Priscilla
Reserved my space online and had a call within 15 minutes to confirm. Got a free moving truck and when the battery died they didn't charge me extra for turning it in late or not filling the gas. Very nice office staff. Facility is kept very clean. AND I can pay my monthly fee online, very convenient!
Real professionally run. The office person who worked with me was truly outstanding. Everything was so easy. Unit was clean and accessible.
Very good service the units are nice and clean I feel comfortable with my stuff at this location I will refer them tell everybody I talk to
The selection process online was smooth and went through without glitches. My biggest issue, which I mentioned to the person checking me in, was there is a $29 administrative fee which is not disclosed on your website or even on the confirmation page I received after clicking RESERVE YOUR UNIT. I still have the page that says my reservation is confirmed. Very disappointing when I arrive to use the storage I am hit with a $29 fee. Also no mention that I have to use your special type of lock. Price went from $70 to $130 plus fees. They raised the price from when I reserved a unit to when I paid and moved in. They would not honor the first price when I reserved. Price went up again a few months after having the unit.

BEWARE OF THIS PLACE! We placed all of our belongings from a move in an interior 10x10 unit at the beginning of September and when we went back two days ago (November 27th), the lock had been tampered with and EVERYTHING was gone. On top of that they had just tried to raise our rent in October from $97 a month to $160 due to "market demand adjustments". We had to call the corporate office to talk it down to $130.
