OMG. RATE KEEPS GOING UP AND UP.... I have now paid over $15,000.00 - Do yourself a favor and throw away your stuff. What I have in there is probably worth $10,000.00
Let's start out by saying that the facility is clean and well maintained and the staff has been helpful and easy to work with. My problem is that I rented a space four years ago at $100/mo. Since then there have been increases in my monthly rate about every six month and the latest raised my monthly rate to $175/mo. That is a huge increase in rent and certainly not warranted by any increases in expenses or inflation. I seriously doubt that their costs have increased by this amount. I reserved this unit a week before my lease signing date. No where in the paper work was there any notification that if I didn't arrive or call at a certain time of move-in date that they would lease my unit to someone else. This is exactly what happened. I was then forced to rent at the Bermuda Dunes location, but this time the unit was $117 (same style) monthly rather than the $94 I had reserved originally. I'm lucky I got a unit at all.
