i wrote easy access five months ago. since then our storage unit has increased from $60 to almost $100 dollars. they have also fraudulently said they could not charge our account and are now charging fees *daily*. our account has more than enough cash in it and should have never been delinquent so beware that they have bad practices at this location. we will be contacting corporate and the bbb because this behavior should be flagged. stay away from this predator. we will be posting this on ever site we can find so that peopl... read more

Infestation has been getting notably worse. In 2017 I noticed my books were getting nibbled by mice, which I immediately brought to the attention of the management. In 2018 the mouse problem seemed to have stabilized(not solved, but not getting worse), but in 2019 the problem suddenly appears to be getting notably worse. Note that my unit only contains books and furniture, absolutely zero food of any kind.

SHORT STORY: Paying and letting this establishment destroy my things and paying upwards of about $400 (FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS FOR A 10x10 SPACE!) a month for them to do it over the span of four years is my biggest regret. And not a thing, nor a cent, recovered. Not only were all my things CRUSTED ALL OVER in mouse/rat feces and urine - to the point where it wasn't medically safe to enter the unit without a hazmat suit on - but...the manager KNEW ABOUT IT!!! Do not rent space here! Management waits until you have your items in storage and then continusouly proceeds to increase your rent (most of the time without even notifying us), the charge would just come out of our account. They are greedy and we will not do business with them again. There are cheaper, more affordable options out there!

I didn't like get finger-printed to rent a storage unit. I liked the initial rate, but it only lasted for several month (4? 6?), and then went up. My experience w/ this location over many yrs is that they regularly raise rental rates above what they are getting from new renters. It seems to me you should treat your long and good customers at least as good as your new and fleeting ones. The facility itself is quite good. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS. In short, Extra Space Storage told us we could unload our belongings from a moving Pod, then changed the story multiple times, ultimately forcing us to go elsewhere after causing us to incur additional expense and making it impossible to do business with them. My family needed storage during a move from out of state. Worst storage facility I've ever encountered. Whoever hired the help needs to fire the help. Lakeisha M. was extremely rude to me at this facility. I will not tolerate that sort of blatant disregard and disrespect she treated me with. I called the national 1-800 number and also the local facility. They both withhold information until they have your money and then drop a fingerprint card in front of you and ask for your fingerprints.
