North Avenue & Kingsbury Extra Space Storage Lincoln Park I was a customer here for over a year and had no issues. This fall my account went delinquent following a summer furlough. I was in communication with the office throughout the process. Management conceded an extension of maybe two or three weeks. They placed a lien on my unit and put the contents up for auction. Very bad experience here. The freight elevator, which is the only operational elevator to all floors constantly gets stuck on other floors. Floor 2-4 can't be accessed by staircase or any other elevator so you just have to wait until someone brings it back down. Most days I can't get anything in or out of my unit because the elevator is stuck and the office is closed. I would not recommend this location

My rates were raised by $50! After storing here for only a couple of months. They'll pull you in with decent standard rates then RAISE THEM without much notice. Just terrible.

I have been a Extra Space Storage for years, everything was fine until they doubled my rate for August 2021!!! I asked what the reason was, and the rep that works there,was very disrespectful!!! I will be closing my account very soon!! To almost double the payment is horrendous, especially since many people have either lost their jobs or working only part time!!! This one is in Chicago, on Wabash.
