The SHAMELESS price increases start a few months after you get all settled into your storage locker. The employee signing you up says NOTHING about this, how soon the price gouging is coming and how the increases will keep coming and coming and coming. You get the news every so often in the mail in an innocuous looking postcard thingie. The lockers are very expensive in the first place btw. Had this unit for less than 3 months. When I signed the unit, I went in with my business partner, asked specifically for any special promotion. Was told no. There is none at the moment. Fine, still signed the unit. Then less than 3 months into the unit, I found out they RAISED the unit price over 20% without notifying me. I logged onto my account to pay the bill and found out. As clean and easy it is to access this storage just be aware before you rent the place. If you're getting the storage for the long run (6 months and over) just be ready to get a price increase every 6 months. My last increase was $80!!! A 33% increase in 6 months. There are no caps in the contract, which means they can increase the rates as much as they desire. So think long and hard before dumping your stuff in this storage :)

Noooooo. Don't store your things here before reading this! At first look, this place seems terrific ... mostly because the sales people are really great at selling. However, the design of the space is HORRIBLE! If you are by yourself, It's nearly impossible to use the facility. You cannot get to your units without going up stairs or up a long ramp OR by loading your items on a lift. I had a unit here for about 18 months. The facilities here are great, and you cannot beat the access hours. The staff, however, leave something to be desired. When I moved out of my unit, I sent in a notification on their online portal. I was then instructed to stop by or call the location and inform them of my move-out. I stopped by a few days later and spoke with John, he updated the move-out date and said I was all set, all I needed to do was lock up and turn in the keys when I moved out. I have been meaning to post this for a while. Unfortunately, I have needed a storage for all the years living in Los Angeles. I travel etc.. and like to have a 'safe space' to keep things that I do not want at my home when not there. Well, you will not have that here. I assure you. Let's face it ... Storage is a big fat waste of money. If you can find a way to game the system you are golden. Extra Space can be the star here with first month free deals for your shorter term needs. I got two spaces, used both for two months and booked online for deep discounts over walk in prices and got out on the last day of the second month with zero grump from the staff. My only compliant is that the spaces can be a haul from the loading dock and it can be difficult to grab one of the rolling dollies for your us... read more
