These guys have been great to work with. I'm on the mainland and working with the Hilo location for storage of goods. Maile and her staff have been helpful with getting my agent on the Island set up for the delivery. My only gripe is the cost. My unit cost went up 25% after a couple of months.

I was looking for a last minute storage place a while ago and after making a few phone calls I was able to to get my unit in only about 30 minutes. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

I have used Extra Space Storage for the past three years. They are absolutely amazing! The staff are always willing to answer questions or help out and the availability to get into your unit is great. I would highly recommend them for all your storage needs!

Made reservation over the phone. Maile the Office Manager called to confirm my appointment. I was half hour early but Maile was kind enough and took me early. The storage space was clean and air con. Highly recommend this establishment.

There's no other place I'd reccomend if you need a storage unit in Hilo! Not only do you get amazing service here by Kyle and Maile, but this place is kept clean and is a very safe area to rent. Kyle was very professional and answered all my questions I had regarding the storages! Rates are great here and team is very trust worthy!

Very clean facility, secure, and friendly staff. I've used other storage facilities in Hilo and nothing compares to Extra Space Storage on Kuawa St.
In the midst of a chaotic move, Extra Space Storage felt like an oasis each time I made a trip there. They have plenty of flat carts available for use in the lobby, making moving in and out of the unit much quicker and easier. There's even a nice clean restroom available next to the elevators. You can access your unit anytime day or night, but the office is open Monday-Saturday 9-6, I believe.
