I have been renting a large storage here for a few years now. I decided it was time to part with unnecessary things and move into a smaller unit. Chris was very helpful. I decided on the smallest unit. He looked at what I had left and said what I would need. He was spot on. I was concerned that I would have to pay for a full month on the large unit until I was moved out. Chris only charged me for the exact days I used each units. In today's world you can expect to be charged a full month. What a relief, Chris made it easy.

Signing up online was easy and before I was off the website, Chris was calling to check in with me about my storage space needs. Meeting him was a pleasure. He made the whole process seemless. The sotrahe space was clean and obiously well kept. The only reason I'm giving it 4 instead of 5 stars is that I rented a 10 x 20 thinking it was one space when really it's two individual spaces. Would have preferred one as it makes it easier to store some of my longer pieces of furniture.

Great location with friendly, helpful staff. Chris was very nice and accommodating to our needs. We put our stuff in storage because of unforeseen change of plans (military life... woo) and it was reassuring to have such caring people there to help us.

Friendly and efficient service. The grounds and unites are kept extremely clean. The rates are a bit high but that is to be expected in Oro Valley, they are certainly cheaper than the competitor up the road.

I stored all my household things in an Extra Space storage place in New Mexico before moving to Tucson, so when I needed one here it was my first choice. They're clean, easily accessible, well-lit, and very secure. And, equally important, the price is always competitive. I'm a big fan!

Looks like I'm the third reviewer to speak the truth about their shady business practice of increasing the rate- in my case 60%, from $83 to $132 after FOUR MONTHS. Will be moving my things out in the next few weeks. Terrible business practice. AVOID THIS PLACE.

I completely agree with Eddie V's review. I rented a 5x10 unit in August and after 5 months, they are raising the rates 82% Really?? Chris at the location has been helpful and very responsive but I believe this is out of his hands. Have found many companies with competitive rates to my original rate and guarantees that no increase for at least a year and I doubt the increase will be 81%. Will be moving.

PLEASE READ!!!! 3rd paragraph after this one is most important if you want to skip reading my entire review. If I help one person I will be content. I want to start off by saying I understand this is a business. I understand they want to stay competitive. So when they increased my rent, I understand why they think they had to do it. Clean, newish facility in a great location & staff is very pleasant. However, within months, our already high rent was increased while significantly lower teaser rates were still being offered to new tenants (a $75/month difference for our sized unit)! Bottom line, we moved to Storage Direct using their moving truck and are saving over $100/month!!
