These people are terrible. I rented a unit for $45 a month in November. In January, they charged me $79. I called my local storage and the woman said she would check into it and call me back. She never did. Then in February they charged me $79 again. I left a message, no return call. I notified the corporate office and they sent me an email saying "...Due to market changes and availability, rates are subject to change. I'm refuge from *******, renting 2units for a long time. Manager of facility ****** ******* told me to give her 5 stars, but I gave negative feedback, because a lot of rats running between units. She started make everything to kick me out:Restricted visiting hours, this year she increase price for my units 2 times and I have to pay more than ******, This is highest price for all Bay area. She is acting like this is her own facility.

I signed up last summer for $290 and today I have cancelled my storage units in Fishers, IN at $450. They claim they mailed me a letter about the price increase the first time when it jumped to $370 but they did not. They increased the price again with no warning again to $450, disposable.

I believe my items were stolen by staff at the ******************************* location. Extra Storage Space is responsible for erroneously moving my unit out. According to their staff they had a systematic error which caused them to give more than 75% of my items away. Staff claimed that another customer had their belongings in the hallway and somehow, they thought he purchased another unit, which was my LOCKED paid for unit. The whole thing make no sense. The guy that works there is unprofessional, rude, mean and nasty the restrooms are never open the place is infested with mice and other critters Ive never seen so much mouse droppings they unexpectedly raised the rent and back to the manager hes creepy and is always lurking around taking pictures and when confronted very hostile .

This company was great to us for the first couple of years. Then they sent us information on a larger unit for less money per month. We decided to accept their offer. We changed units in October. Then in January we were informed that the amount was increasing from $120 a month to $186 a month. Over $60 a month increase! We feel like this place is a bait and switch business now. We are seeking other businesses and planning on moving. Very disappointing.

Beware of the bait and switch price ********** under 11months I received 2 price hikes to now 2.5x the original price.With the initial price of ***** now to ******. Somehow I don't think their AC cost doubled in that time. I mean talk about being ****** just for the sake of it. If you have to use them bc of the location be VERY WARY of staying for any length of time, short term at best and dont use autopay. Sleazy scumbags running a predatory business.

I've been fighting with this company since becoming a customer, ever so often I would receive an increase on this same size no upgraded unit, this month I received a notification that the cost of this storage unit is increasing by $102 stating next month the cost will be going up. I refuse to pay for this unit with such a large increase, I've decided to try and move out before having to pay this much more expensive bill. I feel gouged without cause. There is no way the COL excuse will play out here

Thousands of reviews shows this company runs a bait and switch scam. They are very unethical. Do not rent here.
