STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!! THEY ARE A BAIT AND SWITCH COMPANY WITH NO REMORSE, AT ALL!! I rented a unit at this place on Route 9 in ******* Park, **. Contract began March 2023. Paid my bills on time, still do. Spent very little time there since. Maybe two visits after paying men to move my belongings into the ************ contents.Now they have sent my bill for July 2023. My location is 4175 Chippewa (life storage location that’s not listed ) I always go in to pay my bill but it’s always closed and the workers complain always of being over worked and under paid ..maybe this is why they never have their doors open ..wow..and I’m NOT paying online for a extra fee and I should b compensated for my time and gas for driving around to different location JUST TO PAY MY BILL…this isn’t professional and I’m tired of the poor service ..I didn’t sign up for this
BE VERY CAREFUL OF THIS COMPANY.EXTRA SPACE WILL SIGN YOU UP AT ONE ***** AND THEN 3 MONTHS LATER RAISE THE ***** BY 50%. EXTRA SPACE DOES THIS DELIBERATELY AND CONVENIENTLY LEAVES OUT THAT THESE LEASES ARE MONTH TO MONTH AND THAT THEY CAN RAISE THE *****S AT ANY TIME AT RANDOM. THE LANGUAGE IS SO VAGUE ON THE CONTRACT THAT IT'S EASILY MISSED AND THEY MAKE SURE THEIR STAFF DOES NOT TELL YOU ABOUT THIS.
I had very good customer service by the store manager, Demetria. Managers like her make places better for the community.
This is the cleanest storage facility I’ve ever seen. Floors are immaculate. We needed a large space for an upcoming move and the Manager, Rick, was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and organized. Registration was a breeze.
I would like to say that the Customer Service is awesome. Niki is a great fit for this location. She was so welcoming and has a great personality. She went above and beyond to help with securing a parking space. Niki clearly enjoys the people aspect of her position. I am so pleased with the quality of service.
I have used several storage facilities in several states and Life Storage is one of the best! Customer service was great in locating a unit that fit my needs, the price is very competitive, check-in was fast, and the facility is exceptionally clean!
Abysmal - I have no idea why anyone would choose Extra Space. When I signed up I was assured my rate would not change for at least 6 months, and if it did, to call and it would be resolved. 4 months later is DOUBLED! I called and the manger said "oh, sorry - nothing I can do." I did call the main (888) number and the reduced the rate for a couple more months. In this process, somehow my account fell off from the EasyPay (automatic debit). I received a call from the manager that my account was past due - I immediately paid it... read more
The managers at the location are super helpful and friendly. The process with seamless. Happy to have found the storage unit.
