Ok I’m not sure how long you have to use before the odd taste is gone, but at first I was getting a plastic taste. But now after one week of use it’s completely gone. The PPM is 04 and my ozarka spring water is 17. I read that you can buy the mineral drops, so I did that and added it to the tank and it is excellent.
Great for tea and warm water! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really appreciate the 5 stages of filtering and large water tank. It even provides warm or hot water on request. The water tastes great and the instructions are straightforward. I deducted one star because it takes up a lot of counter space and isn't overly useful for anyone who likes their water really cold. But it's still perfect for tea drinkers!

Works great [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This water dispenser is a great fix for us. We don’t have any filtered water source in our home, only tap water. It isn’t as big and clunky as the traditional water dispensers that are noisy and hard to make look appealing. This dispenser is low profile and doesn’t make a sound.
