This system is 100% better than the ClosetMaid system. The engineering design makes a lot more sense, and it is easier to install. After putting this together, I will never repurchase another ClosetMaid closet organizer. EZ Shelf is the best, easiest to install, and better-engineered closet organization system I have found to date!

Amazing support, Could use better instructions I purchased a kit of two shelves from home depot. I purchased based on the width of my closet being problematic for most typical shelf lengths. I have a 41" width. I bought the 40-75" expandable shelf kit. When I went to install the instructions led me down the wrong path and made install difficult. Essentially not enough room to fit the other end of the polls into the second bracket. I contacted support, they agreed and changed the instructions. They also sent me out a shelf to... read more

Definitely worth it We ordered this for a rental unit that had no shelf over the laundry area. We know we will one day have to remove it. So, we purchased this to allow us to use it later even if the next place has a slightly smaller or larger laundry closet. Right now, we are happy with it. I only wish there was a deeper size. 12" may not be quite deep enough for some items to store on.
