After a couple of years of increasing despair, I ended up in Dr. Matzie's office. After 10 minutes she said, "We've got this." And she did. She treated me with knowledge and empathy - a truly caring and extremely skilled physician - and I am now able to again live much more enjoyably. Very few doctors have impressed me as she has.
On top of being a brilliant surgeon, Dr. Matzie is a very easy going and good natured individual. She makes a difference.
Dr. Matzie was the surgeon for my husband’s colorectal cancer. She has a wonderful way of keeping humor in a difficult situation without making light of things. She explains procedures and what to expect with clarity and patience. She was so excited about her work when she came to tell me how well things went with his surgery, she truly enjoys her work and helping her patients. She does not sugar coat recovery expectations, but wants her patients to be comfortable as they are healing.
Dr. Khalifeh was very nice, made me feel comfortable during the examination. She took her time explaining my condition and made recommendations for natural remedies followed by medications.
