Super positive. I made an appointment on very short notice; they scheduled me within days. As a multi-sport athlete, I am used to doctors doing their best to put me back together, but Dr. Khalifeh is certainly one of the most professional, detail-oriented, and realistic physicians I have met. She always answered my questions thoroughly. I knew that I was in competent care from eval to post-op. Bonus: she has a wicked sense of humour. Should I ever need more help, I would go back in a minute.
Dr. Otchy took his time to make sure that I received the treatment I needed. While several tests showed I might need to have my entire rectum removed, Dr. Otchy wasn't convinced and did one last test to make sure, and it turned out the result was favorable and a procedure was able to be done overnight with much fewer side-effects. I appreciated the care and time he took to make sure that he knew exactly what he was dealing with (even if the tests are uncomfortable!). Life saver!
Dr. Matzie went out of her way to make me feel comfortable and she took time to answer all my questions. She also offered to schedule an additional appointment with my husband to answer any questions he may have. Surgery went very well and Dr. Matzie called to check on me after my discharge from the hospital. She is a very skilled surgeon who also takes time to provide personalized, patient-centered care and communication.
I had an appointment with Dr. Matzie today, July 11, 2017. It was my first time seeing Dr. Matzie. She immediately made me feel comfortable and told me I had a common problem of wo,en in my age group. After she examined me, she discussed what I could do to overcome my problem. She explained everything very clearly and gave me an opportunity to ask additional questions. I left feeling that my problem wasn't as serious as I thought, and that if I followed her suggestions, I should be fine.

I had a colon resection on May 1, 2017. I was impressed from the very first time meeting with Dr. Khalifeh. She is very professional, patient and explained everything to me in ways I could understand. I felt like I was in competent hands the whole time. My surgery went very well. At my post-op appointment she was every bit as patient with me as I had a full page of questions. She even encouraged me to contact her at any time with questions and she was genuine about it!
