He asked questions no one else had before and told me I had a fistula – a connection from my colon to my bladder – I couldn’t believe that was a real thing. He told me about a robotic surgery to fix it. I was scared but he helped calm me down. Surgery went perfectly. His team was awesome. Months later – no infections! Thanks to Dr. Stern and his team.

Dr. Matzie was excellent! She found the problem, explained all about it and then explained what needed to be done. I wish I would have known about her last year when my issues started. Well worth driving the hour to get to her.
