Dr. Matzie was excellent! She found the problem, explained all about it and then explained what needed to be done. I wish I would have known about her last year when my issues started. Well worth driving the hour to get to her.

I was having pain (in the rear) and was embarrassed. Dr. Stern put me at ease. He determined that I had a fissure. We discussed two options: surgery and medicine. He drew pictures to help me understand them. I opted for medicine, but it didn't work. I went forward with surgery; BEST decision I made. In a week my pain was gone. My friends were asking me why I was in such a good mood. I had no idea the pain was making me so miserable. Thank you Dr. Stern - you restored my health and HAPPINESS!!!

It was the best experience I could have hoped for. I was treated with dignity and kindness. Elizabeth was informative, provided options and gave me time to decide. I am very grateful that I was treated by her.
