Brooklyn Getaway The Fairfield Inn is definitely one of the best places in Brooklyn if you're looking to save your pockets. Everything from the sleek décor, to the wide variety of amenities makes you feel right at home. One of the best experiences thus far has been the excellent customer service I received from the hotel staff, specifically Chester James, Elixir McFarland,...
Just fine This is a perfectly adequate place to stay after a night at the Barclay. The accommodations are clean, well-maintained and functional. The staff is great. The gym, aka "Fitness Center" (2 treadmills, an elliptical, and a bike, smaller than my home gym) is adequate and breakfast is just beyond the Fitness Center, warm, delicious and with good variety. It's a...
Just okay While there is nothing bad about this hotel, there is also nothing exceptional about it either. It was conveniently located near family and reasonably priced. We didn't interact a lot with staff but they were pleasant and responsive on the few occasions we did. Came back at one point at noon to discover there were no towels in the room...
Great visit Perfect place for a short visit to the city. Staff excellent and very accommodating. The always friendly, Elexi McFarlae, helped us very much. It was a short walk to the subway to get into Manhattan. Room was very spacious and clean. Overall nice trip.
Surprise in the city This is a brand new hotel that is spacious, includes parking, breakfast, on site gym, and a comfortable lobby area. This is a place to stay if you are on business, family visit, or need something economically in the budget. The staff is friendly, courteous, helpful, and professional.
Great hotel My husband and I stayed here on Christmas night. We were headed back home the following day. This hotel was very clean and well kept. The staff was amazing, most especially Ani (? Spelling?) and Melissa. We had to go to PennStation and were able to even get help using the Uber app for the first time! We will stay...
Oasis in Brooklyn Quick check-in with very cheery and genuinely friendly front desk staff. Small king room by regular standards, but average for NYC and environs. King room was well-laid out. Bathroom was compact but efficient with walk-in shower (that didn't drain properly, but alas Guest Services was made aware of this and didn't fix during my stay, hopefully fixed for the next...
Super helpful friendly staff This hotel is not located in a most beautiful part of NYC. However, the price and the super helpful staff more than make up for that. We spent several days at the hotel as a base to visit Manhattan and also Brooklyn. The hotel is pretty new and very well maintained. ALL the staff we met were incredibly helpful and...
Good hotel, location too far from subway We selected this hotel primarily on price and location Brooklyn. The hotel was good (although check in was very slow), rooms were spacious and clean, breakfast as to be expected for fairfield. The real asset was the roof terrace with great views on Manhattan. The location however was just a little too far from restaurants and subways than we wished.
