We came to this clinic on the recommendation of a neighbor and I am more satisfied with the care and the relationship with my pets and with me than I have ever been before. As a lifelong pet owner, I have dealt with a lot of vets. Experience tells me this is an excellent clinic, for pets and for two-legged people. I have been using FPC for years for my 2 dogs, and even though I usually see Dr Miernicki, who is terrific with my dogs, I have used all of the Vets at FPC and they all get a 10 from me. FPC is definitely a top notch group, I have recommended them to a few people and they are very happy as well, and they feel their prices are very reasonable, but most important is the quality of care that you receive at FPC. I will continue to recommend them to family and friends.
Love this vet. I bring my kitty, Norma to Family Pet Clinic. They treat her like she's their own. Although I have no one else to compare them to pricing wise, they seem reasonable according to my aunts in Upstate NY. I have had Dr. Wilson and Dr. Constantino and both are top notch. Receptionists are very nice and professional. I feel very comfortable bringing my cat to them :) I like their free nail clip too (free with another service).
I definitely recommend the Family Pet Clinic to anyone who wants quality care for their pet. I would give this business 4 stars due to the price (on the expensive side), but because of how the doctor was able to help me with this (stated below), he got his place of work another star. I've been going to the Family Pet Clinic for the last 3 years. I have 3 cats. I've seen 3 of the vets there and they have all been thorough, helpful, nice, and kind. They explain things to you and treat you like a person and not a #. Their prices are extremely reasonable and all visits include a free nail clip. I got 2 cats checked out, 1 got a microchip and the other got shots and the bill was under $175. My mouth was on the floor. This place has seriously gone down hill. My family has been a customer for MANY years. We've taken over 5 family dogs here over a span of 20 years. It's just not the same the last few years. They NEVER and I mean NEVER answer the phone. And their prices have become ridiculous. You used to get a free nail trimming at every visit. That has stopped. I guess because they can charge for that. We will be finding a new vet. Customer service is a thing of the past.

After decades and a multitude of obtaining care for my loving furry family members, I've moved on as have all the trusted vets after Dr. Menninger retired and sold the practice. I have rescinded all the recommendations and recommend a different wonderful vet. Family Pet Clinic is not a place for your loved furbabies. I wish I would have left sooner.

The practice has really gone downhill since Dr Meninger retired. I don't think they are a good vet for cats. It's a crap shoot if anyone will answer the phone. My 10 year old cat had a teeth cleaning in late August. The after care instructions we were given were not thorough. He had problems afterwards. The office was contacted twice. Both times, my boyfriend was told it was just nauseau. Unfortunately, two days after the procedure (Friday), my cat passed away. I'm sorry to say, since Dr Menninger sold this practice, things have gone down hill.... I took my small Havanese in for her yearly check. The vet gave the vaccines before she weighed the dog. This alone was unsettling because she had gained a pound. And then she never got her anal glands suppressed she never got her for exam. And they patted her on the bottom and sent her on her way. They also do not offer nail trimming any longer and the customer service was deplorable. I am now looking for a new vet service after 25 years... read more
