Went in for a simple drug screen or so I thought. As usual fast paced is not fast paced. Had to wait for the receptionist to check in and deal with others in the waiting room who came in way after me. I was even the only person in the waiting room at one point. First of all no Covid or flu test so got tested for strep throat. Nurse didn’t get a good sample my daughter was moving around and didn’t take the time to make sure she had a good example. Took her to her regular doctor she tested positive for strep throat. I know her throat was red because she got sent home from school. And the school nurse said it was red. After telling medical provider the medication she prescribed does not work insisted on giving anyways. I’ve tried same medication 2 times before with no help. Listen to the patients sometimes. It helps us both out!

Nurse was great. Nurse Practitioner was indifferent. Mentioned to her I did a home Covid test that was positive and had a dry and irritated.throat. Requested a strep test that she refused, which is fine but based on her reaction coming into the room she seemed more concerned about being exposed to Covid herself and did not even look at my throat .
