Why bother having a priority appointment when you take a cut finger and sit there yakkking about things that have nothing to do with the patient....telling stories, etc you need more doctors here. I made my appointment this morning, it's was supposed to be priority. Seriously why bother having the priority express. Hated FastMed from the beginning and still don't like them.... if Uncommon Care in Angier was open today In would have gone there. Better not send me a survey it won't be good!!

If your patient and don't mind the wait then they get the job done. BUT prepare yourself for a doctor who will look at their computer more than they will you. I have been multiple times and have seen different PA's and the level of care remains a constant. Rushed, unfriendly and cold. The receptionists are always nice though.

You will wait 2hours even if nobody is checked in before you, do your own self examination & most important they will prescribe you the wrong pharmaceutical medication and waste your time ! Don't go unless absolutely necessary; even if so think about it a second time.

We went to this Fastmed to have xrays taken of a joint on my son that was injured several days earlier and still causing significant pain.The front desk staff as well as the nurse aid were extremely pleasant and welcoming. I don't know what you would originally expect from a Fast Med Urgent Care. I would expect a quick and easy service that allows me to continue my day. You would think that any person with a job or plans later in the day would be able to accomplish them once a quick and easy service is acquired. Came in a for a check up and was immediately notified of a 2 hour wait time. Was also instructed that you were not allowed to leave or no notification system was in place. Noticed a bunch of nurses just standing around chatting for most of the visit. The friendliest person was the doctor. One of the nurses was busting her butt though, she offered me cold water and was not a chatty patty. The staff up front wasn't necessarily rude but they were not attentive and patient focused. I had the opportunity to be in FastMed in Garner, NC today. The check in employee was not at all friendly. I feel like it is ridiculous that they required you to keep a credit card or debit card on file that they have access to! Never, ever has a doctor's office required a credit or debit card be left on file to be seen. The Physician's Assistant was rude and very impersonal. If I could give negative star I would! I got bit by a copperhead snake on my foot and drove to Fast med. Went in and informed receptionist that I had been bitten she then proceeded to give me paperwork to fill out. about 10-12 min passed and then another girl came out to get my ID and insurance card. After a few more minutes I had completed my forms (by this time I was very swollen) When I took them the completed forms they informed me that they did not treat venomous snake bites and that they had called an ambulance for me.... read more
Terrible! My complaint is for the administrative staff. My husband went to this clinic while in North Carolina a week ago (we live in NY). This week he went for follow up with a doctor here in NY, we have been trying to get a copy of the blood test results sent to our doctor here so that he can continue receiving proper treatment. It has been 3 days that we have had to make numerous calls, they give all the excuses in the book to not send them.
