I am an active duty Navy veteran of 15 years and my daughters are currently in North Carolina on vacation. One of my daughters injured her thumb and needed to see the doctor. When we were asked for my daughters SSN we refused to give it to the lady on the phone and explained to her that she just needs a benefit number not her SSN. Amy was very rude to my wife on the phone and refused to see our daughter because we did not give her the SSN. A message from Jessica Pendola - President of FastMed North Carolina Region. I'm sorry to hear that you had a less than acceptable service experience at FastMed. We have a patient-focused culture, hire carefully to ensure we have people who fit into that culture, and provide tons of training to sharpen customer service skills at every level. Simply put, we take it very, very seriously. Please contact me at j.pendola@fastmed.com, I would like to discuss the details of your experience here further. Thank you!

I ended up with a separate bill from another company for over $161. There was nothing special done to the brace, it wasn't custom for my arm and yet they charged more than the doctor charged my insurance. This is why insurance costs... read more

I took my 11 month old son here, who had a 103 temp. The receptionist greeted us. Fake, but polite nonetheless. I went to the urgent care because my military ID expired and they confiscated it last week at the gate (made my life h*ll). Upon discovery of my not having my military ID (but I did have my driver's license), she told me they couldn't see my son, even though I had my husband's social. She proceeded to refer me to the ER. "You're going to have to just go to the ER," she said. No one ever "just" goes to the ER. As ev... read more
