Steve did the purchase of my house as well as a refi a year later. He was excellent on both. He was very easy to work with and was great at handling a few curve balls that was thrown at him. He did great work and did not overcharge me or charge unnecessary fees. We were able to close on time on both of my Loans. He did not know this, but I worked for several years in the loans world and have dealt many many brokers who were not honest or upfront with their clients. The Staples Group at First Colony Mortgage was amazing to work with. As first time buyers, I had a ton of questions and concerns, and Becky and her team were so helpful and patient in making sure that all my questions were answered, and that I felt comfortable with the entire house buying process. Becky started our loan process and got all the paperwork started for pre approval. Once that was done she gracefully handed our loan over to Angel and Aubrie. Angel kept us informed of where our loan was at in the process. We had a underwriting issue and Angel got the information from us as to where she needed to go to get the information and she kept working on it and got the information so our loan could close on time. Everybody was always very helpful and friendly. Will miss working with all of them
Steven is very responsive and works hard to make sure everything is done right. He helped us get through some hard decisions in our mortgage process and always put us first.
I have worked with Steven multiple times because he is able to do more for me than any other loan officer. He keeps in contact with me and keeps my best interests on his mind all year round. He works hard and has saved me thousands in the past couple years. And the best part is he is so easy to get ahold of and communicate with. He responds rapidly so I always get the answers I need when I need them. It never ceases to amaze me what he can do for me. I definitely recommend him!
Steve was dedicated to making my loan work no matter what. He left no stone unturned and after a lot of research and digging, was able to find the perfect loan for my husband and I. And got us into our home as quickly as possible. I was impressed with how easy he was to work with and his attention to detail. I recommend him and his company to everyone that is looking to buy!
Steven was helpful and trustworthy when I needed to refinance my home in preparation for retirement. He sort of held my hand while finding me the lowest possible rate to bring my monthly payment down to a fit in my some day soon limited budget. For someone so young, Steven, is quite knowledgeable!
