I have always enjoyed my stays in Canberra made more enjoyable by where I stay. Where do I start? RecommendedI highly recommend Forrest Hotel and Apartments! The location is perfect - close to Parliament House, Manuka’s vibrant cafes, and major attractions, yet tucked away in a quiet, leafy area. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with free Wi-Fi and parking as a huge bonus. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making check-in a breeze. RecommendedI told people we were staying at a roach motel because it was cheap and unpretentious but it was surprisingly good. Close to APH, scrupulously clean and hot water (shower pressure isn't crash hot, but okay). Not wheelchair accessible, but I can stand and ambulate a little into a shower. The sink is rock solid and embedded in the wall so was okay to lean on. The bed was pretty comfortable, sheets were clean. RecommendedWe had a wonderful stay over the long weekend in Canberra. The location of this hotel is fabulous. So close to all the attractions such as Parliament House, Old Parliament house and all the embassy's etc! The Lodge is even just around the corner. Also walking district to the shops at Manuka. The bed was amazing - super comfy for a great night's sleep. RecommendedMy family and I stayed in a two bedroom apartment it was great, had everything that we needed. Apartment was clean and well set out. Staff at reception were friendly and gave good service. Hotel is within walking distance to shops and restaurants.
