RecommendedMy husband and I, together with our adult son, stayed in one of the refurbished two bedroom apartments, recently. The staff were very helpful on the phone when I made my enquiry and booking, offering me a very reasonable rate for our one night visit on a Saturday night. They had our details from a previous visit at the hotel and made me feel that our business was valued. Once again The Forrest has out done themselves buffet breakfast was super, after a great nights sleep on great beds had a hard day then delicious dinner Friendly smiling staff, nothings a problem and loots of hot water. We will be back!!!!
My husband and myself are staying here for a week in one of the apartments. We are very happy with the setup of the unit. Beds are very comfortable, great kitchen and bathroom.
Second stay there and loved it again. Ate at the restaurant instead of getting takeaway this time, the food was well priced and fantastic. Think I will be a regular soon.
We stayed 1 night this week, in Room 15, one of the older apartments I believe. The room and facilities suited our needs and we found the trip to Canberra Hospital for appointments, convenient. Most important was that the room was warm. Our hot water was not hot enough to shower in the evening, but we delayed those till the morning and it was fine! We reported the sparks which burnt out the toaster when we tried to use it, but we were pleased to see that it did have an inspection report tab on it, showing Jan 2017. The stove... read more
My husband and I had an excellent stay here! The rooms, although not enormous, are well appointed, extremely clean and are well equipped for a great stay. We had a great breakfast in the dining room, even though we were late for the posted hours. The location is handy to sites and the city. We had a great stay and will return again next time we are in the area.
Great location and great price. Neat and clean interior, and friendly staff. Mum said the breakfast was the best she'd had. Definitely recommend. Forest is a beautiful area, adjacent to Parliament House. As an inner suburb, it's perfectly located for a trip to Canberra.
