I've known Foster since 2005, through his community development efforts and also as a client. Foster brings a refreshing optimism and empowering knowledge and realism to everything he does. There are no half-hearted efforts. Foster has his finger on the pulse of San Francisco and is always a pleasure to speak with, whether rolling up your sleeves to plant trees in SOMA, debating the goings-on at the Board of Supervisors, or discussing the impact that recent national news will have on the mortgage rate!

I first met Foster back in 2004 while volunteering for a local charity, and along the way, he exposed me to what he offered as a mortgage expert. Foster knows his markets, his industry, the inside knowledge that stirs the pot, and the people that get things done. My wife and I hired Foster to get us a mortgage during one of the hardest-entry mortgage markets in history, and he showed us the path, explained the likely hiccups, and guided us through the crazy maze that popped up. (And that he predicted.) I'd hire him again to handle this kind of work - it requires a deft touch, which he's got.
