I usually love getting my teeth cleaned but this past time there was a temp as opposed to my regular girl since she was ill, and I was not impressed with my cleaning experience.
On time appt.
I went to see Dr. Harris with a spot on a tooth that I was sure was a cavity. I had worried it so much with dental floss and my tooth brush that it was sore, adding to my concern. I was alarmed because tooth decay can be a side effect of a new medication that I have begun to take.
Doctor Meyer never changes and I mean that in a very postive manner!
I will no longer visit this office. I drove 25 mins to this office and called stating I would be 10 mins, and I was asked to reschedule. It took me over a month to get the appointment needed and then the lack of understanding was extremely disappointing.
Had a bit of a cosmetic emergency (try walking around with a missing front tooth for a day and tell me you don't feel like you should have an old abandoned car sitting on cinder blocks in your front yard). Anyway, the FSCDG came to my rescue promptly. Called them at 7:00am and was in their chair with the big spotlight in my face by 8:15. Walked out with tooth intact by 9:00. Thanks very much.
I was taken back and finished in a timely manner. But while back there I was splashed in the face by the dental assist during my filling, she even sprayed by cold sensentive tooth with that ice cold water catching me off gaurd. Causing me to jump and spill water, the dentist was mad at me. I could understand not wanting water from someones mouth on you but the way he acted made me not want to come back. I was also hit in the mouth several times by the different tools used. PLUS my tooth is still sensetive.
