I lived at Fountains for three years, just moved out last week. Never once missed or was late for a payment and was a respectful resident. We did not get any of our deposit back ($300) and OWE $50.00 because we painted a bedroom and didn't paint it back when we left. Before we painted the room we asked the property manager if that was ok and she said yes, no charge will be applied. About two months ago, my bike was stolen from the garage after it was locked up. I liked living here at first, then they started shutting down and restricting amenities. There is dog poop literally everywhere. No one picks up after their dogs, and the management does nothing about it. Not only will you absolutely step in it, it smells! Eventually I decided to move out, and I cannot even express what a headache that was. Darla is probably the nastiest person I've ever had to deal with. I lived here for two years. The first year I had virtually no issues and loved the complex so much that I renewed for another year. A few months into the second year, the property management group changed and it went downhill very quickly. The last six months I was there felt like living in a frat house -- loud parties where people threw trash and vomited everywhere, including inside the elevators (just leaving it there for the poor maintenance staff to deal with for days). The staff is very welcoming at first, but once they get you, they don't care. When I moved in no one knew that I was moving in. Nothing was prepared. Then at move out they require 60 days notice which is a little ridiculous because most people have no idea where they are going to live 60 days from the end of their lease. I submitted my notice with 45 days remaining on my lease, but they auto extended me to 60 days and charged an extra $800 per month rate on top.
