Thee worst company to rent from. Even if you use a second party like Priceline. Check your receipts!!!! They try not to give you a final receipt; and add extra charges that no one can explain. Once you notice the charges... they act like they don’t know what the chargers are for. I argued until I was able to speak to a supervisor, who then, tried to make me feel stupid by breaking down the charges. She then noticed that I was right and those charges were incorrect. They are totally no responsive to calls to their dedicated lost items number. 5 calls and two emails have elicited no response at all this indicates a very dismal respect for their customers.

I have no idea how you company is still in business. I rented a car from your company for the first time today at the Austin Airport. There were only 5 customers in front of me and it took over 48 minutes get to the desk. I am a very easy no nonsense person to rent to and it took 10 minutes to do the paperwork. The car I thought I rented when I reserved it online was not there. They acted like I was getting an upgrade when they offered me a less fuel efficient SUV. This place is cheap for a reason! Not only do they put an extra $400 hold on your rental they don’t even tell you ahead of time that it’s going to happen. Customer service was poor. Drop off was the only thing that was easy, literally handed my key and walked away. Next time we need a rental I’ll go with a name brand company!

Horrible experience. I would not recommend this car rental service. Customer service does not exist if you need to get ahold of the rental place. We received a dirty car with no working radio. We also got something smaller than what we originally asked for and when we tried going back to hopefully fix these issues the customer service was not helpful and rude so we were not able to fix any of the issues.

Listen to the reviews. Read them on google maps and yelp. This company is cheaper for a reason and this was my first AND last time I'm renting from them. When calling in to clarify the confusing final bill, JEFF got irritated and hung up on me. What? Your policies are different than the main chains, expect people are going to have questions. The type of car that I reserved a full two months ahead of time was not available. I reserved an SUV, and was given a Toyota. The agent stated that they had rented all of their SUVs to other customers. The whole point of making a reservation is so that you the type of car you wanted is available for the price agreed upon. The agent was less than sympathetic. Just very matter of fact, basicallly “oh well, this is what you get”. First and last experience with FOX.
