Fox has charged you for the additional 2 days of rental (at the same rate as your original reservation) plus the late charge for each day the vehicle was not returned as expected at $25 per day. I rented a car and unfortunately, I was rear-ended the day I got it. I call the towing company and asked to return the car to Fox Rent a Car. In the meantime, I called the fox and asked them to give me a refund or sent me a new car. However, They did not send me the new car and charge the full amount of my reservation. I am so sorry to hear of your accident. Unfortunately, until the claim is resolved we cannot process a refund for the rental charges. The rental is charged until Fox is able to recover ther rental. I was asked a little over 100 for a compact sedan for 1 day. With 150 deposit. They are trying to say that the navigation was missing. There was no navigation only Android auto screen which was there bc I had my phone plugged into it to listen to my GPS to navigate. They are charging me over 500$.

When you show up to pick up the car they require you to have a physical credit card to pay hundreds of extra dollars that they do not disclose when booking online. They won't even take a debit card to pay the money with a credit card on file. Ridiculous policy that left us stranded.

0 stars Worst experience ever. Customer service is non existent. When you try to call them, it is just a carousel of automated choices. I was told it was required to buy their liability insurance and that turned out to be a lie. Called "billing department" they said I had to talk to the general manager from the location that opened at 5 AM. I showed up at 5 AM and they were not open yet. Now I can't talk to anyone about it. I rented a car at the Phoenix Airport. The clerk who handled my rental not only lied about gas prices to convince us to do the pre-paid fuel, she never mentioned taxes and fees. She stated the fuel was $5.43/gallon (when Phoenix prices were over $6 - mind you NO WHERE in the State of Arizona is fuel over $6 a gallon..) come to find out it's $5.43/gallon PLUS TAXES AND FEES. Prepaid fuel is a service so you do prepay for the full tank of fuel as part of that service so you do not have to seek out fuel prior to return. As this is a service there is a tax on the charge. We thought (like most would think) that the rental car could just be overnight dropped off and we could shuttle to the airport. One of the family members in our party had a spider sense that we should touch base to make sure they had a shuttle service (since we, like reasonable people wanted to get there a couple hours early. Do not rent from Fox Rental Car. Initially quoted about $260 for a 5 day trip. Was billed $616 after was all said and done. Was given the impression that I was opting out of insurance when I was just opting for the lowest rate they offered. Charge you $12.00 a day to have the ability to use a toll pass. Customer service's answer to the issue was that I signed off on the contract and I was responsible. National average for one week for a car rental is around $460. Predatory practices. While I made a mistake not reading the terms, the fact that I canceled a reservation within 2 hours after I made one and I can't get a refund is insane. They even claimed to have a "Fox Guarantee" when I made the reservation that would allow individuals to get their money back if they have to cancel a reservation for any reason.
