Rented in Denver Co on March 17th, arriving late night. Customer rep was pleasant. . I was told the car was outside and went to get it in the dark, dimly lit, snow covered lot. The car was dirty, 1/8 tank of gas and smelled like someone smoked a joint in it before pick up I examined it as best I could with my phone flash light and found the exterior scratched and damaged, even though the car had not been washed. This business advertises prices that you will pay in full online. It even asks you to either select their insurance or decline. But that is dishonest. Once you go pick up your car, they force you to get their insurance. When I said I would use my own car insurance the attendant rudely tolde to get back on the shuttle bus and go to the larger carriers and see if I can get a car from them. I had a car booked in advance at the Phoenix airport and when we got there the counter was closed and we were told they were out of cars. They absolutely refused to help me or make amends in any way. Bad business practice, mismanaged company, terrible customer service.

DON'T RENT FROM FOX. Despite being in the middle of COVID they didn't even attempt to clean the interior of the vehicle. After waiting in line for over 45 min to obtain the vehicle and another 45 to actually get the vehicle it was disgusting. When I went back in to speak with a manager, I was told they were too busy to deal with me! After flagging down a different employee walking by he told me I could wait another 45 min to have the car cleaned. So I asked for wipes to clean it myself. This was BY FAR the worst car rental experience of my life. Nothing even comes close. And it is all attributable to the company. I spent THREE HOURS at the Fox office near Denver airport. 2.5 hours in a huge, snaking line before I even got to the counter, then after completing the paperwork another half hour for the car. This during Covid, in a crowded line with virtually no social distancing possible and plenty of anti-maskers. The employees could give no adequate explanation for the wait. 0 stars if I could. Never rent from Fox-Rent-a Car. This place is a joke. I rented a car through Priceline and when getting to Fox I was told that my car rental was not there because I did not arrive on time (8 hours later than the mistakenly booked time by Priceline). So they made me pay for an upgrade. Upon receiving the car, I did not realize how filthy it was until the next morning since it was nighttime when I picked up the rental. I have had the same experience many are reporting on here. I am currently contacting law enforcement to file a report for internet fraud, conspiracy and racketeering. I urge others to do the same if they have experienced fraud. A copy of the email was sent to Fox and I haven't heardack. Dear Fox Billing Dept., I rented a car in Orlando for March 21-March 28, 2021. ***WARNING*** DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY Not only did I have to wait OVER 2 1/2 hours for my car but they over charged me by $266.44 And you CANNOT talk to a real person . Customer service is horrible!! They force you into charges that you don't need but say they are required. Did not have the type of vehicle we requested for 7 people and 4 suitcases. Vehicle was dirty did not have a full tank of gas and it has been over a week and still have not gotten our deposit back and we returned the car an hour early with a full tank of gas and we had the vehicle detailed prior to returning.
