I can't say enough about the excellent service and care my dog George received from The staff at Frederick Road Veterinary Hospital. First, called them on a Saturday Morning with very sick George and they were able to fit me in the same day which was amazing seeing as though they were closing at noon. Frederick Road Veterinary Hospital is the best. I started taking my dog Maggie there after trying several other vets. She was recently diagnosed with osteosarcoma and had to be put down. The staff was amazing!! Dr. Dan was so compassionate and helpful , as I was a mess. He sat with me and talked about what a great dog Maggie was. We have taken our dogs for a couple years now. Always great with them. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. They follow up when the dogs have been sick. Just this weekend we had to make a very hard decision about our older dog. He has been having many issues and in pain. We sat with Doctor Beyer and talked. We made that very hard decision and they were awesome! So kind and gentle with our dog and with us. I will keep taking my shih Tzu to see them. Everyone really cares and they all love animals.
Harley my GSD had to have emergency surgery Monday. I was a complete mess. Not only did Dr. Lisa do a great job with my dog the staff did a great job with me. Dr. Dan took the time and reassured me on everything and let me pet his dog which calmed me down.
I have a 9 year old male American staffordshire terrier. For all of this life we were taking him to Arbutus Vet. In Dec of this year we found a bump on his leg where the arbutus vet caught it and referred us to a place in Columbia. There we found this was a mass cell tumor and needed to be surgically removed. As you know we animals owners would go to the ends of the earth for our animals, and my sweet boy was no exception. Our corgi Rey got sick late Saturday night and the staff at Frederick Road Veterinary Hospital was excellent. Not only was every single person friendly and reassuring, everyone was knowledgeable and we felt so comfortable leaving Rey in their care. She came home two days later feeling much better. We are so grateful for the care she received and will refer everyone we know! Thank you!!
