Whenever my family goes out for dinner, Friar Tucks is always on top of list for places to dine. The meals are always good and ambiance delightful. We would recommend the restaurant to anyone thinking of where to go for a wonderful time out on the town in Nevada City.
Uninspired but tasty enough for a Tuesday evening
Every aspect of dining was suburb. Food was delicious and fresh, service was delightful and prompt. Our server was personable and fun. Excellent experience and can’t wait to return.
I rarely complete performance surveys but in this case Friar Tuck's deserves the time and attention. Had a very enjoyable meal celebrating my brothers 74th birthday. I always take my wife here for her birthdays. The only place my wife can get lobster which is her traditional birthday meal.
my wife and i ordered steak, it was well presented. However the steak was so chewy and tough we could not eat it . I would never order a steak again it cost $34 should have been a very nice stek not eatable i am sorry to say. also had the onion bread not as good as i had remembered. It was very nice dinner and atmosphere. The food was delicious and the dessert, we had chocolate fondue , speechless.
We went here for an anniversary dinner and it was wonderful all around. There was live acoustic music in the adjacent bar which we enjoyed as well. Will definitely come back again
We always enjoy going to Friar Tucks. The staff usually recognizes us as returning customers and treats us well. Tyler, our waiter was awesome, as usual which makes it nice. Also the music is always a treat.
