Fantastic server, delicious food, a little pricey but worth every dollar! We looked forward to having our wonderful meal there at least once a month !

Had an excellent cut of prime rib! The waitress was a trip. We are in the process of moving to Grass Valley. She had nothing good to say about living there. Very negative about the heat and population growth. She has lived there for 20 years and can't wait to retire and move back to Hombolt Co. We think that she, like many, do not like the growth in the area and is doing everything in her power to scare people away. Didn't work thought. We'll be back to this restaurant for sure. Its was ALL good!
We have had dinner here before, good food. This time they set us out front; a lot of noise, not good. We asked for a butter knife and was told they do not have them. Trying to place butter on bread with a steak knife did not go well.
Much improved over what it used to be. New ownership and management with retention of many of the existing staff committed to better customer experience. Ample drink and wine list and a varied food menu provided many options for dining. Portions were ample and enhanced with thoughtfully prepared sides and sauces. I stayed with the appetizers menu and had the New Zealand Green Lipped mussels in white wine and saffron sauce followed by a traditional Caesar salad with anchovies.
