We have taken our pets here for over 15 years, and I will never return. My poor healthy kitten went in for his final round of vaccines. Within two days his leg swelled and he had a fever. For 9 more days he was continuously treated as if it was a vaccine reaction...it wasn't. It was a bacterial infection in the leg he received his rabies vaccine in. By the time another clinic got antibiotics in him it was too late. Please do not be as trusting as me, get a second opinion!
Business response:
Thank you for providing your feedback and letting us know about this issue, Alyssa. We set a high standard for ourselves and are truly sorry for your loss. Please call us at (425) 334-8585 and ask for our Managing Doctor. At this time we are already talking to the vaccine company as well as the emergency hospital to continue to make sure we know the full picture and address it accordingly. Thank you, Frontier Village Veterinary Clinic
My daughters cat is in renal failure now because back in April she had a bladder infection that they did not tell us about. Records show this and they did not give us antibiotics. We are now spending more money to save her which could have been prevented if we had had antibiotics in April

Unfortunately they are now owned by a conglomerate corporation and the compassion has gone out of the clinic. I brought in a dying found kitten and was told it was a hundred dollars and their vets couldn't help. So sad. Dr. Lindvog would have helped, but he is retired. Greed has taken over this clinic.
Business response:
Rene, we are sorry to hear your experience did not meet your expectations. Before we are able to perform any euthanasia, a doctor needs to perform an exam and we need signed consent from the owner or good Samaritan. Unfortunately, when you stopped in we did not have a doctor available to perform the exam. Our front staff does their best to help anyone in this type of situation by offering other options such as local Humane Society or shelter contacts. If you would like to discuss this further, please call and ask for the Hos... read more
I was lied to with 4 different animals that I've had euthanized here. I was told each time that they charge extra to be in the room with them when they pass. We were rushed during a very difficult time and I will never go back there.
Business response:
Melissa, we are truly sorry to hear you had a negative experience with us and would appreciate your taking the time to chat in more detail. Our number one goal is to offer exceptional care and service, so please know we take this feedback seriously. We have shared your comments internally and will be working hard to ensure our clients visits with us are good ones especially in their time of their pets passing.
I have revoked my 5 star google review due to much thought about my most recent prior experience at this clinic. My cat had some concerning symptoms he had been displaying, resistant to jumping, straining in the kitty box ect. All of which I had discribed to the Vet and the vet assistant. His symptoms were the whole reason why I made an appointment, I knew something had to be wrong. $160 later Frontier Veterinary Clinic gave my 16yr old senior cat a clean bill of health, because they said he was healthy I left with the impre... read more

If you want to be charged up to twice what other vets in the area charge, Frontier Village is the place for you!
I'm not a fan and won't be going back. I have taken my dog here since I moved to Lake Stevens in 2011 and found it was a fine place for our yearly visits and simple stuff but about a month ago my dog started exhibiting issues and the answer wasn't obvious but the cost of doing test after test was getting SO expensive and not once did I feel like the vet had any concern over how expensive it was getting. It felt like a money pull wanting to test and then retest, miscommunication about what tests were necessary between convers... read more
