This used to be my favorite restaurant in the entire town as it is one of the few that actually know how to cook a steak. This experience, however, was less than subpar. As usual the service was phenomenal, Izzy was our server and catered to our every need with the upmost professionalism. The food was delicious and as always, we will definitely be back.
When we got seated by Carlos around 7:30, he mentioned that our waiter would be Brain, he will be taken care of us, which he was attending the table beside us. I made eye contact with Brain and did a head node of recognition! 25 -30 minutes later, we still had not been approached by Brian while we watched him walk by us repeatedly to take care of surrounding tables, and great new patrons! My son and I eat there once a month. The food was excellent along with the service.
Food was average this time, was much better when we were here last year. The server tried to be cordial, but it definitely seemed she was unhappy to be there, she even generally tossed our bread onto the table while walking by. Disappointing experience for us this time.

Once again Garrison does not disappoint. I was excited to check out the new menu! While I was disappointed not to see the oysters on the half shell, I was pleased some of the staples remained. The table tried the Korean meatballs with kimchi. Flavorful and well presented. Additionally, we tried the filet, wedge salad, Mac and cheese, collard greens greens- and more! Everyone was delighted with the offering, and I found the price point to be more on target than when it first opened. Over all, very pleased.
